Houston-based natural gas firm Woodway Energy Infrastructure announced plans to construct a 22-mile, 30-inch natural gas pipeline to serve an undisclosed data center located behind the meter in the United States. The project, expected to enter commercial service in the first half of 2028, will be owned and operated by Woodway and supported by 24/7 control room monitoring. Woodway, founded in 2020 and backed by Macquarie Capital Principal Finance, aims to deliver large-scale, purpose-built infrastructure tailored to the customer's specific requirements, with an option for extension.
