Type: Supply Agreement · Technology: Transport · Country: United Kingdom · Announced: 2026-07-08

Wren Kitchens, a UK-based kitchen retailer, has initiated its fleet electrification program by taking delivery of 10 electric Mercedes-Benz eActros 600 tractor units. The eActros 600, Mercedes-Benz’s long-haul electric truck model, will serve as the foundation for Wren Kitchens’ transition to an all-electric heavy goods vehicle (HGV) fleet. This agreement marks the first step in the company’s broader decarbonization strategy for its logistics operations. The electric trucks are expected to replace diesel-powered units, reducing Wren Kitchens’ Scope 1 emissions by an estimated 1,200 tonnes of CO₂ annually. Mercedes-Benz, a subsidiary of Daimler Truck, will provide the electric tractor units as part of a supply agreement that includes vehicle specifications tailored for Wren Kitchens’ distribution needs.
