Zayo Group Holdings, Inc. completed the acquisition of Crown Castle Inc.’s Fiber Solutions business, adding 90,000 metro route miles and 40,000 on-net enterprise locations to its portfolio. The transaction strengthens Zayo’s metro fiber density, which is critical for supporting AI inference workloads and connecting regional data centers to corporate networks. The expanded infrastructure will serve hyperscalers, neocloud providers, frontier model developers, and enterprises across healthcare, finance, and manufacturing sectors. Zayo’s AI Infrastructure Blueprint now integrates the acquired assets to enhance connectivity for training, inference, and interconnection environments.
