Zelestra and Meta expand energy collaboration with new PPA for 180 MWdc Palmera solar plant

Zelestra (formerly Solarpack) and Meta have signed a new Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) for the 180 MWdc (140 MWac) Palmera solar photovoltaic plant located in Freestone County, Texas. This agreement expands their existing energy collaboration, bringing their total PPAs to approximately 1.4 GWdc of solar capacity across eight projects in the United States, all scheduled to begin operations in 2028. Zelestra has also commenced construction on the 176 MWdc Skull Creek solar plant in Anderson County, Texas, and the 200 MWdc Reclamation solar project in Gibson County, Indiana, both backed by PPAs with Meta. These new projects will join the 81 MWdc Jasper County solar project in Indiana, which recently achieved commercial operation as the first project under this collaboration.
