Overview
Ownership of Italian onshore wind is public, but it is scattered across many documents and rarely says who stands behind a project company. This directory brings it into one place: who owns the operating plants, who holds the projects in the permitting queue, and how ownership has changed hands.
It covers operating plants of 1 MW and more, with the smaller units a document names, and filed projects of every status — under review, with an environmental decision issued, with a FER-X 2025 award, and archived, rejected or concluded. The principal owners are profiled one by one, with the group chain and identifiers, the fleet, the pipeline, a map and the history; every other owner group is listed in one line; and the assets are indexed by Terna station, region and comune.
Facts are taken from public documents, and the document is identified in each profile and in the sources part. Where a figure is derived rather than stated, the directory says so. It names roles, not individuals. Status as at 17 October 2026.
What this edition covers
Six parts. A — market overview: directory totals, coverage beside Terna’s national figure, owner rankings, status and kind, regions and a national map. B — owner profiles: the principal owners, each with owner band and key figures, group chain and identifiers, fleet, pipeline, related records, map, history and numbered sources. C — other owners: every other owner group identified, one line each, then the plants with no owner of record. D — ownership changes and transactions as the documents state them, oldest first. E — indexes by Terna station, region and comune. F — sources: every document behind the overview, the owners, the changes and the indexes.
