Acciaieria Arvedi has partnered with Danieli for the construction of a new steel plant. Danieli will supply the technology and equipment for the project, which aims to increase Arvedi's steel production capacity.

The PPPL line is expected to be put into operation in September 2008, while trial production at a 1.7 million metric ton per annum CPL will be commenced in December 2008 and joined with a tandem mill in October 2009. The No. 2 and No. 3 HDGLs, with a capacity of 350,000 metric tons per year each, are expected to start production in July and December 2009 respectively.
