In 2020, Alstom was awarded the contract to design, manufacture, and deliver 180 RRTS train cars and 30 MRTS train cars, supply and install the signalling, train control and telecommunication system, platform screen door & LTE radio communication and provide comprehensive maintenance services for 15 years.
