Alstom to supply trains and signalling solutions for Namo Bharat RRTS corridor and Meerut Metro

Alstom Romania will supply India-made trainsets and advanced signalling solutions to the National Capital Region Transport Corporation for the Namo Bharat RRTS corridor and Meerut Metro. This supply agreement builds upon a 2020 contract awarded to Alstom, encompassing the design, manufacture, and delivery of RRTS and MRTS train cars, signalling systems, platform screen doors, LTE radio communication, and comprehensive maintenance services for 15 years.
