Ambient Photonics Raises $175 Million Series B to Scale Low-Light Energy Harvesting Technology
Ambient Photonics, a developer of low-light energy harvesting technology, raised $175 million in a Series B funding round. The round included investments from L&G Capital, Fine Structure Ventures, IKEA Investment AB, Amazon Climate Pledge Fund, Tony Fadell's Build Collective, and General Catalyst. The funding will be used to scale production.

The company also recently announced it had progressed to Part II of a USD 162m DOE loan guarantee. Ambient's technology was originally developed at the Warner Babcock Institute for Green Chemistry and funded since inception by Cthulhu Ventures.
