AMC Robotics selects Hive Digital Technologies for AI compute infrastructure

AMC Robotics has selected Hive Digital Technologies to provide AI compute infrastructure for its AI-powered robotics development, testing, and deployment needs. Hive Digital Technologies operates data centers across Canada, Sweden, Paraguay, and the US, with an anticipated 540MW of capacity by the end of the year, including 400MW in Paraguay and 140MW in Canada and Sweden. AMC Robotics is an AI robotics company, developing intelligent, scalable hardware and software solutions. The company's robotic platform, Kyro, is designed for inspection, security, and operational tasks. The robot serves as a mobile AI Edge computing platform. Hive was founded in 2017 and originally functioned as a Bitcoin mining company. It has since expanded into the AI cloud compute space. The companies are also looking at other areas for collaboration, across AI optimization, data processing, and infrastructure scalability.
