Ampyr Solar Europe acquires East Yorkshire Solar Farm project
Ampyr Solar Europe (ASE) has acquired the East Yorkshire Solar Farm project in the UK from BOOM Power. The project, which has a planned capacity of more than 530MWp, secured its Development Consent Order in May 2025 and is classified as a Nationally Significant Infrastructure Project. The solar farm is expected to supply electricity for approximately 100,000 households and will be connected to the substation adjacent to Drax power station. BOOM Power will continue to be actively involved as the project moves into construction and subsequent energisation, planned for 2029.
