Aroma Solar launches 1.2 GW fully automated TOPCon solar module manufacturing facility in Karnal, Haryana
Aroma Solar, the renewable energy arm of agricultural exporter Aroma Agrotech, inaugurated North India’s first fully automated, AI-driven TOPCon solar module production line in Karnal, Haryana, with an annual capacity of 1.2 GW. The facility employs robotic automation and AI-based quality verification to produce TOPCon modules rated at 620 to 635 W with 23.51% efficiency, addressing long-term field performance rather than short-term volume. The plant sources exclusively Tier-1 raw materials and integrates human oversight to ensure consistency in module quality, marking a shift from conventional assembly methods. Following the launch, Aroma Solar announced plans to expand into solar cell and wafer production to strengthen supply chain control and vertical integration. The facility’s automation is powered by equipment supplied by SC, a Chinese manufacturer, positioning Aroma Solar at the forefront of India’s precision solar manufacturing sector.
