BayWa r.e. completed the sale of a three-project solar portfolio totaling 517 MWDC to an undisclosed privately held renewable Independent Power Producer. This transaction, finalized in October, represents BayWa r.e.'s largest portfolio sale to date and is expected to significantly bolster the U.S. grid's renewable energy capacity by 2025. The projects are located in the PJM and MISO regions, key U.S. grid operators, and are poised to generate substantial economic activity and long-term tax revenue.
