Beacon Offshore Energy coordinates with Shell for Zephyrus field processing

Beacon Offshore Energy LLC has announced a supply agreement with Shell to connect its Zephyrus field to Shell's existing West Boreas subsea infrastructure. This arrangement will facilitate the processing of Zephyrus field output on the Shell-operated Olympus production platform, located in the Gulf of Mexico, United States. In this deal, Beacon Offshore Energy acts as the developer of the Zephyrus field, while Shell serves as the supplier of the crucial processing infrastructure and services. This strategic coordination allows Beacon Offshore Energy to efficiently bring its Zephyrus field into production by leveraging Shell's established deepwater assets, thereby avoiding the significant capital expenditure and development timelines associated with building new processing infrastructure. For Shell, the agreement enhances the utilization of its West Boreas and Olympus facilities, generating additional revenue streams from third-party processing services.
