Blackstone invests in Sunotec for renewable infrastructure expansion
Blackstone Tactical Opportunities has made a structured equity investment in Sunotec to support its renewable infrastructure expansion across core European markets. The partnership aims to drive growth in Germany, the United Kingdom, Scandinavia, and Southeast Europe, while also expanding Sunotec's services and grid capabilities. Sunotec has already installed approximately 15GW of solar capacity, including 5GW of utility-scale solar and 5GWh of battery energy storage systems in the last two years. The investment will help scale Sunotec’s hybrid renewable energy asset platform and strengthen its focus on sustainable infrastructure. The transaction is subject to regulatory approvals and is expected to close in the first half of 2026.
