BPCL signs CBG supply agreements in Uttar Pradesh

Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL), a state-controlled Indian oil and gas company, has announced three Compressed Bio-Gas (CBG) supply agreements in Uttar Pradesh with RBML (JioBP) and Ladelite Power. These tripartite agreements aim to secure a supply of CBG, totaling 34 tons per day, for BPCL's operations. While the financial value of the agreements remains undisclosed, this move signifies BPCL's commitment to diversifying its energy sources and supporting the development of the bio-gas sector in India. This deal is strategically important for BPCL as it aligns with the Indian government's push for increased adoption of renewable energy sources and reduction of carbon emissions.
