The European Commission approved EUR 4.56 million in funding for Bulgartransgaz EAD’s Hydrogen Infrastructure in Bulgaria project, which involves the construction of a roughly 250 km hydrogen pipeline connecting Sofia with the Bulgarian–Greek border near Kulata, along with two new compressor stations and supporting facilities.
