Cadeler's Vessels Mobilize for Hornsea 3 Foundation Installation in April

Cadeler's vessels Wind Ally and Wind Orca are scheduled to mobilize in April 2026 for the installation of wind turbine foundations at Ørsted's Hornsea 3 offshore wind farm. Wind Ally will begin installing XXL monopiles from Rotterdam, Netherlands, on April 12, 2026. Wind Orca will handle secondary structure installation and will mobilize from the Port of Tyne, England, starting operations on April 19, 2026. The foundation commissioning works will be supported by the SOV Esvagt Froude, which mobilizes from the Port of Hull, England, on April 24, 2026. This mobilization marks a critical phase in the construction of the 2.9 GW Hornsea 3 project, located approximately 160 kilometers off the Yorkshire coast.
