Calvisson municipality, ECDC, and ACTTE commission second citizen solar plant with Eco-Syst, Voltec, and Cefem Solar
The municipality of Calvisson, in partnership with the ECDC association and the ACTTE cooperative, commissioned a second photovoltaic power plant on the roof of the Maison des Sports et des Loisirs, marking a new phase in their citizen solar project. This new installation, along with the existing one on the roof of the Municipal Technical Center (operational since April 2025), includes a total of 739 photovoltaic panels deployed by Eco-Syst. The project, costing nearly 310,000 euros, utilizes 100% French materials, with modules from Alsatian supplier Voltec and inverters from Ardèche-based Cefem Solar. These two plants are projected to produce 366 MWh annually, sufficient to power approximately 80 to 100 households and avoid 150 to 180 tons of CO2 emissions per year.
