Casa dos Ventos and Ascenty have signed the largest renewable energy contract ever announced for data centers in Latin America, valued at over USD 500 million. The agreement covers the supply of an average 110 MW of renewable electricity, reinforcing the growing role of long-term clean power contracts in supporting Latin America’s digital infrastructure expansion. The partnership will allow Ascenty to avoid approximately 5 million tons of CO₂ emissions over the coming years, contributing significantly to its decarbonization goals.
