The project targets key routes such as the Golden Quadrilateral and North-South-East-West Corridors, addressing critical gaps in India’s EV charging infrastructure. With a deadline set for March 2027, the initiative aims to accelerate long-distance EV travel by reducing charging downtime for drivers. The network will support multiple charging standards, including CCS and CHAdeMO, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of electric vehicles. ChargeZone did not disclose the total investment required but emphasized the strategic importance of public-private partnerships in scaling EV adoption nationwide.
