Chevron and Mitsui O.S.K. Lines to Jointly Study Carbon Transport
Chevron and Mitsui O.S.K. Lines (MOL) will jointly study the feasibility of transporting captured carbon dioxide (CO2) from locations in the Asia Pacific region to Chevron-operated carbon storage projects in Australia.

Chevron and MOL have signed a joint study agreement (JSA) to explore the technical and commercial feasibility of transporting liquified CO2. Chevron was recently granted an interest in three greenhouse gas assessment permits offshore Australia. The JSA will complement work to be advanced by a recently announced consortium to explore solutions for large scale carbon capture, transport and permanent storage of CO 2 from Singapore.
