China Electric Power Co., Inc. and Toda Corporation acquired minority stakes in Asia Wind Power Co., Ltd., the special purpose company developing the Masuda-Hikimi Wind Power Project in Shimane Prefecture, Japan. The 54 MW onshore wind farm, consisting of 13 turbines with 4,200 kW capacity each, will be constructed in Hikimi-cho, Masuda City, Shimane Prefecture. Scheduled for commercial operation in January 2030, the project is being developed by Asia Wind Power Co., Ltd., a joint venture established in 2019 by Mitsui O.S.K.
