Source Intelligence
The Approval in Principle Level 1 validates the design of the technology and confirms the conformity and reliability of its anchoring approach. Bureau Veritas assessed the floating structure, mechanical interfaces for cabling and mooring, the station keeping system and electrical specifications related to cabling. The review incorporated CFD, wind tunnel tests and structural engineering documents and found no conflict with rules for inland or calm water applications. Fusio features a honeycomb float architecture designed for improved mechanical strength, broad site adaptability, reduced long-term fatigue and integrated electrical and mooring systems. Fusio has already been installed on three projects exposed to extreme wind and wave conditions for two years without damage.
