Coal India Limited and Sarus Infrastructures have jointly won a battery energy storage auction conducted by TGGENCO for a 375 MW/1500 MWh facility in Telangana. Each company will be responsible for developing an 187.5 MW/750 MWh portion of the project. This development is intended to significantly enhance grid stability within Telangana and facilitate greater integration of renewable energy sources.
