Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners acquires Ørsted’s European onshore wind platform and launches Perigus Energy
Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP) completed the acquisition of Ørsted’s European onshore wind platform, a portfolio of operational and development-stage assets, and simultaneously launched a new entity, Perigus Energy, to manage the platform. The transaction expands CIP’s renewable energy portfolio in Europe, adding Ørsted’s 1.5 GW of onshore wind capacity across Germany, Sweden, and Poland. Perigus Energy will oversee the development and operation of these assets, with a focus on accelerating the energy transition in high-growth markets. The acquisition strengthens CIP’s position as a leading investor in European wind energy infrastructure. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
