CWHI has completed the delivery of all 30 transition pieces for the Inch Cape offshore wind farm, with the final batch arriving at the Port of Leith in Scotland on April 2, 2026. The last 15 units were shipped from China in January 2026 aboard the COSCO vessel HUA XING LONG, concluding CWHI's contractual scope on schedule. Each transition piece stands up to 28 meters tall, with an outer diameter of 8.3 meters and an approximate weight of 600 metric tonnes. This project marks CWHI's largest Transition Piece project to date, achieving 1,800,000 safe work hours by January 2026. CWHI became the first supplier from China to deliver fully commissioned transition pieces to a UK offshore wind project in November 2025.
