Digi Power X signs 24-month AI data center capacity agreement with SubQ AI for bare metal GPU services
Digi Power X signed a $19.6 million contract with SubQ AI for a 24-month AI data center capacity agreement, marking the first contracted AI revenue for Digi Power X and the commercial launch of its NeoCloudz bare metal GPU-as-a-Service platform. The agreement includes delivery of access to Nvidia Blackwell GPUs on a bare metal basis via Digi's NeoCloudz platform, with SubQ AI paying $2.95 million upfront. The contract will commence on May 15, 2026, and positions Digi Power X to scale its relationship with SubQ AI, targeting additional high-growth AI customers for its dedicated Blackwell fleet. SubQ AI's CEO Justin Dangel stated the initial deployment is the first step in a long-term relationship, with plans to scale to several thousand GPUs over the next quarters. Digi Power X, formerly a cryptominer, operates three data center sites in Alabama, New York, and North Carolina, with a fourth site under development in Silicon Valley.
