Eastern Green Link 4, a joint venture between SP Energy Networks and National Grid, has awarded £3 billion in supply chain contracts. Siemens Energy will deliver HVDC converter stations. Prysmian secures a £2 billion contract for subsea and underground cables. The 2 GW link runs 640 km between Scotland and England, with construction starting 2028.
