EIB commits €400 million to MYTILINEOS for 2.6GW solar PV and battery storage projects across EU

The European Investment Bank (EIB) has committed €400 million in financing to MYTILINEOS Energy and Metals to accelerate the development and deployment of a new portfolio of solar PV and battery storage systems (BESS) projects. This investment, totaling an estimated €2.5 billion, will add approximately 2.6 GW of capacity across Greece and other EU countries by 2027, supporting the EU's renewable energy transition and reducing dependence on fossil fuels.
