Emmvee Photovoltaic Power secures INR 3,306 crore term loan from IREDA for 6 GW integrated solar cell and module manufacturing facility
Emmvee Photovoltaic Power secured a INR 3,306 crore term loan from the Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency (IREDA) to fund a new 6 GW integrated solar cell and module manufacturing facility in Devanahalli, Bengaluru. The facility will expand Emmvee's total installed capacity to 16.3 GW for modules and 8.94 GW for cells by FY2028, following the company's transition to TOPCon technology. Emmvee has already completed land allotment and taken possession for the proposed facility, with construction expected to commence immediately. The financing follows Emmvee's reported FY2026 revenue of INR 5,050 crore and profit after tax of INR 1,082 crore, reflecting strong operational performance. The expansion aligns with India's solar manufacturing push under the Production Linked Incentive (PLI) scheme, targeting self-reliance in PV cell and module production.
