Energía Renovable Topacio has presented the Parque Fotovoltaico El Colorado project, a 123.1 MWp solar plant with a 631.89 MWh battery energy storage system (BESS), for environmental qualification in Chile. The initiative, located in the Maule region, involves an estimated investment of $130 million and includes the installation of over 183,000 photovoltaic modules, a substation, and a 66 kV transmission line. The project is projected to begin execution on March 30, 2029, and will inject 114 MW into the National Electrical System.
