Enfinity Global signs 1.8 TWh of bilateral agreements with Italian industrial firms for 120 MW solar PV capacity under Energy Release 2.0
Enfinity Global signed bilateral power purchase agreements (PPAs) covering 1.8 terawatt-hours (TWh) with four Italian energy-intensive industrial companies—Feralpi, ISAB, De Angeli, and Magis Energia—under Italy’s Energy Release 2.0 mechanism. The agreements will be backed by approximately 120 megawatts (MW) of new solar photovoltaic (PV) capacity to be developed across Italy, with interconnection expected by the second quarter of 2029. The initiative aims to increase electricity supply for industrial offtakers while providing greater price visibility and long-term planning stability in a volatile energy market. Energy Release 2.0, managed by Gestore dei Servizi Energetici (GSE), links industrial electricity demand with the development of new renewable generation capacity. Enfinity currently operates 345 MW of solar and storage projects in Italy and has a pipeline of 8.5 gigawatts (GW) across solar and energy storage, including 460 MW under construction.
