Enviromena initiated construction on two solar farm projects in Shropshire, England—Rock Farm near Ludlow and Steeraway near Telford—with a combined capacity of 90MWp. The projects, acquired by Enviromena in summer 2025, are backed by Contracts for Difference (CfD) agreements, ensuring revenue stability. Nearly 125,000 solar modules will be installed across both sites, with module installation scheduled for early summer 2026 and both projects expected to be energized by the end of 2026. The combined output of the projects is anticipated to reach nearly 90,000MWh annually, sufficient to power approximately 33,000 UK homes and avoid over 15,000 tonnes of CO2 emissions each year. Gary Hales, Enviromena's chief operating officer, emphasized the strategic importance of secure, domestically produced energy amid geopolitical uncertainties.
