Equisolar secures €20M+ financing from Crédit Agricole Nord de France, Bpifrance, and EIB for 30 MW rooftop solar portfolio in northern France
Equisolar secured a senior financing facility exceeding €20 million from Crédit Agricole Nord de France, Bpifrance, and the European Investment Bank to fund a 30 MWp rooftop solar portfolio in northern France. The financing will enable the construction of approximately 70 rooftop solar PV plants, primarily deployed on equestrian centers across the region. The projects will benefit from France’s EDF OA feed-in tariff under the S21 framework for 20 years, ensuring long-term revenue stability. Once fully operational, the portfolio is expected to generate enough electricity to power nearly 6,000 households annually. Laurent Coubret, Fund Manager of Eiffel Transition Infrastructure, highlighted the deal’s role in accelerating rooftop solar deployment using existing built surfaces to support local energy transition efforts. The financing marks a milestone for Equisolar, a joint venture between Eiffel Transition Infrastructure and Concept Sol, established in 2024 to develop, construct, and operate rooftop solar projects.
