Equitix, through its jointly owned entity John Laing Investments Ltd. (JLIL), has acquired Skanska's 50 percent stake in the I-4 Ultimate Project, securing full ownership of the asset. This acquisition strengthens Equitix's North American platform and builds on its existing partnership in the project since 2021. The I-4 Ultimate Project is a major availability-based public-private partnership in central Florida, involving the reconstruction and widening of approximately 21 miles of Interstate 4. The project operates under a 40-year design-build-finance-operate-maintain concession and benefits from government-backed, inflation-linked revenue through availability payments from the Florida Department of Transportation.
