European Energy signs long-term PPA with Mars for 158MW Skuodas wind project in Lithuania
European Energy signed a long-term power purchase agreement (PPA) with Mars covering most of the output from the 158MW Skuodas wind project in Lithuania. The project is expected to generate approximately 490GWh annually upon commercial operation in 2028, with bundled guarantees of origin linked to the output. The agreement is designed to support the project's commercial and financing structure as Skuodas has not yet reached financial close. The wind farm is projected to avoid approximately 120,000 tonnes of CO₂ equivalent emissions per year. Mars will secure renewable electricity for its operations and value chain in the region through this collaboration.
