FlexGen Power Systems acquires Clean Energy Services to integrate BESS project delivery and enhance system performance

FlexGen Power Systems completed the acquisition of Clean Energy Services (CES) on April 2, 2026, integrating CES's battery energy storage system (BESS) project delivery capabilities into FlexGen's software and services platform. The transaction aims to accelerate FlexGen's project execution by combining CES's hands-on BESS deployment expertise with FlexGen's software solutions for system performance optimization. Clean Energy Services, a provider of turnkey BESS solutions, brings operational experience in deploying storage assets for utilities and industrial customers. FlexGen, which specializes in battery energy storage software and services, stated the acquisition will strengthen long-term asset reliability for its expanding customer base. The deal follows FlexGen's recent expansions in utility-scale storage deployments across North America.
