Fu-Gen Closes 125 MW BESS Project Deal with Nala Renewables

Fu-Gen, a Swiss-based renewable energy developer, has closed a deal with Nala Renewables for a 125 MW ready-to-build battery energy storage system (BESS) project in Vuolijoki, Finland. This transaction builds upon a framework agreement established between the two companies in October 2025. The Vuolijoki BESS project marks an important milestone for both parties, highlighting the project's technical and commercial readiness. Construction is expected to commence later in the year, contributing to the decarbonization and stability of Finland's electricity system.
