FUJIFILM Holdings America Corporation enters Virtual Power Purchase Agreement with Geronimo Power for Blevins Solar & Storage Project
FUJIFILM Holdings America Corporation signed a Virtual Power Purchase Agreement (VPPA) with Minnesota-based Geronimo Power to support the generation of 300,000 megawatt hours annually from the Blevins Solar & Storage Project in Texas. Under the agreement, Fujifilm purchased approximately 46% of the project’s nameplate capacity, equivalent to 125 megawatts of renewable-energy attributes, to offset 100% of its group companies’ electricity usage in the United States and Canada. The 2,300-acre solar park in Texas, completed in late 2025 and fully operational by March 2026, will generate renewable energy attributes corresponding to approximately 90,000 metric tons of CO2 emissions reductions per year. This VPPA represents approximately 10% of the Fujifilm Group’s global annual CO2 emissions based on fiscal year 2024 data, aligning with Fujifilm’s Sustainable Value Plan 2030 targets to achieve net-zero greenhouse-gas emissions from operations by fiscal year 2040. The partnership underscores Fujifilm’s commitment to reducing its carbon footprint while supporting renewable energy development in the U.S. and Canada.
