G.W. Shaw & Son acquires residential collection work from Sullivan and Son Disposal and commercial frontload accounts in Massachusetts
G.W. Shaw & Son acquired select residential collection work from Sullivan and Son Disposal in the Massachusetts municipalities of Stow and Boxborough, as well as commercial frontload accounts in Fitchburg, Leominster, and Lunenburg. The transaction expanded G.W. Shaw's geographic reach into new Massachusetts markets where Sullivan and Son Disposal had existing customer relationships. Ben Shaw, senior operations manager, noted the acquisition provided a 'bigger reach' into areas where G.W. Shaw previously had no presence. The deal follows G.W. Shaw's recent purchase of Cane Waste, a small residential hauler in Amherst, New Hampshire, demonstrating the company's growth strategy through tuck-in acquisitions. The company continues to expand its service area while maintaining its focus on customer service as a competitive differentiator against larger waste management firms.
