Galp acquires 351 MW Spanish wind portfolio from Plenium and Bankinter

Galp has agreed to acquire a 351 MW onshore wind portfolio in Spain from Plenium and Bankinter. The transaction expands Galp's renewable energy footprint in Spain, where it already operates over 1 GW of wind capacity. The portfolio includes multiple operational wind farms across key Spanish regions, with an aggregate capacity of 351 MW. The deal aligns with Galp's strategy to increase its renewable energy capacity to 12 GW by 2030, up from 7.2 GW at the end of 2025. No financial terms were disclosed for the acquisition. The transaction is expected to close in mid-2026 pending regulatory approvals.
