GM and Ultium Cells to Receive $192 Million in Grants for Battery Manufacturing

Ultium Cells LLC is a joint venture between General Motors and LG Energy Solution to mass-produce battery cells for electric vehicles. The company focuses on developing and manufacturing advanced battery technology to support GM's electric vehicle strategy.
