Google Signs Solar PPAs with Sunraycer for ~400 MW Texas Projects via LevelTen Energy Platform
Google has executed long-term power purchase agreements (PPAs) with Sunraycer Renewables for electricity from the Lupinus and Lupinus 2 solar projects in Franklin County, Texas, totaling approximately 400 MWac of photovoltaic capacity. The transaction was facilitated through LevelTen Energy's Accelerated Process (LEAP), which standardized processes and expedited execution, enabling the deal to move from RFP launch to contract execution in under 10 weeks. Both solar projects are expected to begin commercial operation in late 2027 and will operate in the ERCOT market, supporting grid reliability while delivering economic benefits to Franklin County including job creation, tax revenue, and regional investment. The agreements advance Google's clean energy objectives to support its data center operations, while strengthening Sunraycer's position as an independent power producer with a 3 GW development pipeline. Sunraycer is a portfolio company of Crayhill Capital Management.
