Green Hedge Infra GmbH has sold its 100 MW battery energy storage system (BESS) project in Senftenberg, Germany, to Econergy International Ltd. The project is designed to deliver grid-stabilizing ancillary services and support the integration of renewables into the German power system. The transaction was completed in June 2025. The sale underscores the growing role of large-scale storages in Germany’s energy transition.
