Hassan Allam Holding agreed to acquire MetiPro, the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) arm of Metito, in a strategic deal announced on April 15, 2026. The acquisition unites Hassan Allam Holding’s 90 years of infrastructure leadership with MetiPro’s 65 years of global water expertise, creating a scaled platform to deliver large-scale water and wastewater projects across Egypt, the Middle East, Africa, the CIS Countries, and Eastern Europe. MetiPro brings advanced capabilities in desalination, wastewater treatment, water reuse, surface water treatment, and industrial solutions, with operations in over 50 countries. The deal builds on a longstanding partnership between Hassan Allam Holding and Metito, which has jointly delivered landmark projects such as Al Mahsamma, New Delta, West Alexandria, and Abu Oweikal, supporting Egypt’s water security and environmental protection goals. Hassan Allam Holding’s water platform is further strengthened by its subsidiaries Hassan Allam Construction, Intech, Bioworks, and Ridgewood, covering the full spectrum from engineering to operations and maintenance.
