Source Intelligence
The Chinese manufacturer aims to simplify access to global megawatt charging networks. Windrose’s electric trucks will soon support ISO 15118-20, enabling automatic Plug&Charge authentication. This feature allows the charging process to start securely and without the need for RFID cards or mobile applications once the vehicle is connected. It will support not only CCS charging but also future MCS charging processes. The implementation also aims to optimise fleet operations through automated contract handling and streamlined billing across interoperable charging networks. Encrypted end-to-end communication ensures the security of all transactions. Windrose is a Chinese electric truck manufacturer with global ambitions. Earlier this year, the company established a presence at the Belgian port of Antwerp-Bruges, where it plans to assemble vehicles for the European market and establish departments for research and development and aftersales.
