Iberdrola has secured a €150 million green loan from the European Investment Bank (EIB) to finance the construction of a 400 MW portfolio of wind and solar energy projects across Italy. This investment, totaling over €300 million, marks Iberdrola's first renewable energy facilities in Italy and includes associated connection infrastructure. The projects are strategically located primarily in EU cohesion regions in southern Italy, aiming to enhance energy security, contribute to climate action, and stimulate economic growth and employment.
