InfraVia Capital Partners has completed the acquisition of a 50% interest in Polski Światłowód Otwarty (PŚO), formerly FiberForce sp. z o.o, from the iliad Group for PLN 1,775 million. PŚO, which owns the UPC network infrastructure in Poland, will be jointly controlled by InfraVia and Play, with plans to upgrade the HFC network to FTTH technology and cover over 6 million households. This transaction aims to boost Poland's fixed Internet services market through an open access model, making PŚO the country's largest fiber network.
