Inland Real Estate Acquisitions finalized the acquisition of Clarendale of Mokena, a 156-unit senior living community located at 21536 Wolf Road in Mokena, Illinois, from a joint venture between LCS and Nuveen Real Estate. The transaction was negotiated and closed by Matthew Tice, senior vice president of Inland Acquisitions, with legal support from Brett Smith, vice president and associate counsel of The Inland Real Estate Group, Law Department, acting on behalf of an Inland affiliate. The community includes 60 independent living, 56 assisted living, and 40 memory care units, alongside amenities including a first-floor bistro, indoor gathering spaces, a fitness studio, and a full-service salon and spa. As of closing, Clarendale of Mokena was 94% occupied, with LCS Community Operations continuing to provide management services under an expanded strategic relationship with Inland. The acquisition strengthens Inland's portfolio in the Chicago metropolitan area, particularly in the southwest suburbs where senior living demand remains robust.
