InterContinental Energy signs feasibility agreement for Australian Renewable Energy Hub development
InterContinental Energy (ICE) entered a feasibility phase agreement with Chinese heavy equipment manufacturer Sany International Development and South Korean entities to advance Stage 1 development of the 26 GW Australian Renewable Energy Hub (AREH) in Western Australia's Pilbara region. The project, planned at full scale to produce up to 1.6 million tonnes of green hydrogen, will integrate solar, wind, and green hydrogen production. The agreement covers full feasibility and pre-FEED studies, marking a critical step toward realising the project's potential as a major green hydrogen hub in Australia.
